The Solstice Sackbuts performs classical chamber programs, as well as educational programs, where we take a musical tour through the centuries starting with the Renaissance and Middle Ages, filled with interesting anecdotes about the composers and times and history of the trombone, ending with pop and jazz. Our popular holiday programs include traditional music from around the world. We are currently working on a “21st Century Sackbut” program which highlights music only by living composers.
